K – Circular Economy
Circular management in the context of urban management
With particular reference to the symbiosis between the circular and the circular economy
The basic objective of Circular Economy - Book 1 is to present the methodological criteria related to circular/rotational economy and their applicability in urban management, accounting and management systems. It presents the technical content of possible project areas and describes the pilot options.
Wellington Webb, former mayor of Denver and former president of the United States Conference of Mayors, once said: 'The 19th century was the century of empires, the 20th century, the century of nation states. The 21st century will be the century of cities!" Not incidentally, the Obama report echoes this sentiment.
So the innovation of urban management is very much at the heart of the story of the 21st century.
The study "Circular Economy - Book 1" presents, among other things, the circular economy methodology and related background material, the operation of Stadtwerke, the creation of demand, the "big picture" circular methodology, the levels of hedging, the technological toolbox, the involvement of banking and EPC financing, the mobile payment market stakeholders, and the sustainability and market competition of urban smart city interventions. Last but not least, the book explores the combination of circular economy and smart city opportunities using Porter's 5 Forces method, with the indicator set showing which cities are worth taking the plunge.
